It has been a while since I have updated this site and that is why you will see the Learning Essentials splashed everywhere.

STAY TUNED! I will be researching the National Curriculum to update these learning experiences. Most teachers would be able to adapt these LE ones anyway... :-)

You can listen to my robot song called 'What is a robot?' on the 'Becoming a member' page.

Just below is an audio player for you to listen to. I have created a special piece of entertainment for you to help you get the feel of future thinking. I wrote a script in the form of an audio letter and I recorded it. I used a synthesizer to create some cool sound effects. You can create audio recordings about robots with your mobile phone and send them to me. As long as they don't contain inappropriate sounds, I can upload them here to share with the world. Remember... the whole world will be able to listen!

Hello, my name is Shontelle Lewis. I was a Teacher Associate for the Coasting into Robotics project (ASISTM), 2007 which was a project that introduced school students into the world of robotics using lego RCX and NXT. It was a very interesting experience to be a part of and I have taken my experience further by becoming the TREK Project Leader for CQUniversity, Bundaberg. Each year since 2008 I have been extending my knowledge by managing a robotics project that encourages collaborative robotics learning. I invite you to be a part of the building of this website!
Cheers,
Shontelle Lewis (founder of the Robotics Club).
